Testing the Protector 330 Targa

Here's how the day went:

Warren, RI 10:00 AM

If you want to hit three cruising destinations in one day and get home in time for dinner, you need a fast, comfortable boat.

Montauk, NY 1:00 PM

Stop number one is Montauk to try our hand at surfcasting. The fish might have disappointed, but the ride over certainly did not.

Montauk, NY 1:30 PM

En route to destination number two: Block Island. With 800 horses behind us, we hope to be there in time for lunch.

Block Island, RI 2:00 PM

Pulling into the Block Island Boat Basin after a speedy ride over from Montauk. Lobster rolls and mudslides, here we come!

Block Island, RI 4:00 PM

When you’re cruising at 50 plus mph, you burn some fuel. A quick fill up before heading to destination number three: Cuttyhunk.

Cuttyhunk, MA 6:30 PM

Success! A foggy ride from Block to Cuttyhunk, but that didn’t stop us from making it to destination number three with time and energy to spare.

Narragansett Bay, RI 8:00 PM

170 miles later, we’ve made it back to Warren, RI, in time for a late dinner. We may be tired, but we’re not beat up, thanks to the Protector 330 Targa’s smooth ride.
