Where to Cruise: Outer Banks, North Carolina
Outer Banks, North Carolina

To get the skinny on North Carolina’s famously rugged and beautiful Outer Banks, we asked local Randy Ramsey, president of Jarrett Bay Boatworks, for his take:
“Go to Ocracoke Island. People love it. There’s no bridges or anything so you need to go by boat. It’s isolated and just so pretty. Everybody loves Howard’s Pub. It’s a great local place that makes everybody feel welcome. There are several small marinas in Silver Lake. They’re all good. Go try ’em!”
