Orange Beach is hands down one of the most kid-friendly places on this list. The Gulf Coast town has everything a young person—or a person who is simply young at heart—could want. There’s skeeball, mini-golf, go-karts, arcades, and more. Lulu’s restaurant in nearby Gulf Shores is owned by Jimmy Buffett’s sister and is a favorite among locals and tourists alike. Plus the sugary-white beaches will appeal to everyone. Not to mention that the world-class fishing just offshore offers a great place for parents and kids to bond and make memories that will last a lifetime. If you come by boat, give Romar Marina a kick in the tires. We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the Southern hospitality. Oh, and visiting Orange Beach is good for another reason too. The town was hit hard by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, and while the water is now clean, tourism is still on the rebound. So pack up the kids and hit the beach, you won’t regret it.
