Editors Win BWI Writing Awards

On the opening day of the 2022 Miami boat show, your favorite editors were recognized for their storytelling.

I’m proud to announce that on the opening day of the Miami boat show, members of the Power & Motoryacht team were recognized by their peers in the industry at the annual Boat Writers International writing awards. Our goal at Power & Motoryacht is to create the best boating magazine in the world. To do that, we try to push ourselves—and one another—to create stories that educate and inspire.

In today’s world, where streaming services and social media vie for our attention, we understand that a successful magazine needs to be better than ever. It needs to make you laugh, learn, become better informed and inspire you to push out of the slip and chase adventure of your own.

We don’t set out to write stories for the sake of awards but they are a nice recognition of the work being done by the team. I’m proud of the work my team does on a daily basis and I’m glad to see their work recognized. I hope you enjoy revisiting our award-winning stories from 2021. —Daniel Harding Jr.
