World’s 100 Largest Yachts 2007 #4: Savarona

#4: SAVARONA—408'0"

No one who’s a charter guest aboard Savarona dares to complain about lack of space, considering each of the 17 staterooms is more than 485 square feet. Forty-four crew cater to their every need, as do separate sauna and steam rooms, an opulent saloon for drinking coffee and cognac known as the Sultan’s Coffee Room, and a cinema stocked with 2,500 flicks. Named for a long-neck, black-feather swan, the yacht cost $4 million to build—quite a tidy sum more than 75 years ago.
