World’s 100 Largest Yachts 2006 #12: Carinthia VII

#12: CARINTHIA VII— 321’5”

When 19-year-old Heidi Jelinek walked into a hotel bar in 1959, little did she suspect that she’d end up one of the richest people in the world. Today, known as Heidi Horten, she’s worth about $3 billion, according to Forbes, and does what many wealthy individuals do: travels to various vacation homes around the world as well as this beauty of a blue-hulled yacht. If you ever get a chance to look at Carinthia VII head-on, take a close look at her bow: You’ll see a double-H emblem. You’ll also undoubtedly agree that overall she has lovely lines.
