GoBike Motion ELX 8

The GoBike Motion ELX 8 ($999.99) is a feat of modern engineering—a lightweight, aluminum-frame bicycle that folds up in 25 seconds flat. If that doesn't impress you, consider this: The ELX 8's telescopic seat post and stem adjust to accommodate riders of all heights, from 4'7'' to 6'3'' and up to 245 pounds, making it the perfect bike to keep onboard your boat. And stowage is a breeze.

But, best of all, the GoBike doesn't sacrifice performance in favor of wow factor. It has eight speeds, front and rear suspension, and a long wheelbase, all of which should help guarantee a comfortable, efficient ride. An antidive front-braking feature prevents the bike from pitching forward should you be forced to stop on a dime. The 20-inch wheels feature stainless steel spokes and alloy rims for durability and resistance to corrosion. And when you're ready to store your folded bike away, just reach for the custom 30''x26'' rolling flight case that accompanies each model.

With so many amazing features, it's no wonder the GoBike ELX 8 has been on the receiving end of several international awards, like Germany's Red Dot design award. It's a top choice for boat owners who want a great bike with superior design.

X-Treme X-250 Electric Scooter

When it's time to explore the shore, hop on X-Treme's X-250 Electric Scooter. This aluminum and high-tension steel scooter will have you whizzing around at up to 15 mph, depending on your weight (maximum capacity is 300 pounds) and the terrain.

The X-250 is no mini gas guzzler. It features a 25-watt electric motor, two 12-volt batteries, and a smart charger. In fact, as far as transportation goes, it's about as green as you can get.

The scooter starts at $185 and comes with an optional seat kit so you can give your feet a rest. Best of all, it easily folds up so you can carry and store it as needed.

Walker Bays' Airis Sport 11

The Airis Sport 11 ($1,249) from Walker Bay is a versatile, inflatable kayak that's great for day trips. According to Walker Bay, the kayak's tear-resistant, polymer-coated fabric allows it to hold up to six times the maximum air pressure of similar models. This means riders get the rigidity of a traditional hull with the portability of an inflatable.

The kayak is 11 feet long and weighs 21 pounds. It accommodates one rider of up to 250 pounds and has a maximized rear skeg surface area designed to ensure excellent tracking. It comes with bungee tie-downs and an integral dry-storage bag, so you can easily transport gear. And, should you find yourself in the mood for a hike after you've paddled around, you'll be all set: The Sport 11 deflates for easy storage in the AirPack backpack.
