The Sea Tel 3011 is a 30-inch, three-axis, marine-stabilized Ku Band antenna system for broadband connectivity. The antenna’s based on a state-of-the-art, frequency-tuned radome design and electronics used in industry-leading XX09 Mk2 systems.
A durable dome and robust construction can withstand the harshest conditions of the marine environment, so says the manufacturer.
According to Sea Tel, the 3011 has stabilization accuracy of 0.1° (RMS). RMS stands for “root mean square,” which is how the marine-electronics industry quantifies measurements, particularly when the values in question range from positive to negative.
