Maretron’s 13.3-inch touchscreen display allows monitoring and control of systems operating on the NMEA 2000 network through the company’s N2KView software, which comes preloaded on the unit. Rugged construction, a waterproof front, and a solid-state disk drive are built to stand up to the marine environment. Maretron uses optically bonded glass to provide a durable, viewable screen. Because of low power usage, the TSM1330 requires no internal cooling fan, according to Maretron.
NMEA 2000 is a network protocol that allows a variety of sensors to share data, including engine information, tank levels, electrical-system monitoring, alarm systems, and more, through a single backbone. The TSM1330, in conjunction with the software, provides a one-stop monitoring system with customizable control of access to data.
