KVH HD11 TracVision Satellite TV System

Seamless Reception—Everywhere

World-girdling TV addicts rejoice! KVH’s new state-of-the-art satellite TV antenna finally puts an end to that tedious chore of changing the LNB whenever you cross from the Caribbean to the Med.

KVH HD11 TracVision Satellite TV System

Billed as the world’s first “truly global satellite HDTV system,” KVH’s HD11 features a 40-inch dish in a four-axis stabilized mount and a universal LNB (receiver) that is able to cope with every permutation of frequency and polarization within the Ka and Ku bands. Not only is the dish big enough to receive weak signals, the unique mount also allows it to track satellites that are very low on the horizon—a combination of characteristics that means it can receive usable U.S. TV signals as far north as the St. Lawrence River and European TV right up to the northern tip of Norway.

Another first is that the HD11’s digitally programmable LNB can automatically reconfigure itself to suit any of 100 or more satellites and be controlled by KVH’s exclusive iPhone, iPod, and iPad apps. And if anything goes wrong, the same app allows KVH engineers to carry out diagnostic tests and software fixes remotely from anywhere with cell-phone coverage.
