Monte Fino 76 Custom Motoryacht

Most builders update styling periodically to keep models looking fresh. But the revitalized Monte Fino has taken the makeover to a new level. The handsome but somewhat staid look that defined the brand over the past decade has been transformed, creating a svelte charmer that would be the envy of any Italian design studio. Partnering with Humphreys Yacht Design, Monte Fino intends to redesign several yachts over the next few years. The 76 is the first step in that plan, and by looks alone it appears to be a giant step forward.

Sweeping windows in her deckhouse sides add just the right dash of flair—curvaceous and contemporary, but not overly so. Her sheerline and flying bridge have a more conservative style, which should withstand the test of time. And with generous bulwarks and ample freeboard aft, the 76 should withstand heavy seas, too. The focal point of her hull sides is a pair of large, curved ports that will flood the master stateroom with light. Other styling elements can be customized. For example, the flying bridge can be adorned with a sweeping radar arch or a hardtop or enclosed as a pilothouse or skylounge.

Inside, the new 76 offers spacious accommodations and versatile layouts. On the lower deck, the full-beam master suite amidships is separated from the engine room by the en suite head and dressing area. In the bow is a VIP stateroom, while just aft are two more guest staterooms. What's more, in the stern there's a full-beam crew stateroom with bunks, two hanging lockers, and a head with separate shower.

The main deck features a big, open galley to port and a dining table for eight opposite, just aft of the helm. Amidships, the saloon boasts an oversize, U-shape settee along the port side, facing a home theater-style entertainment system. Sliding glass panels open onto the large aft deck area, sheltered by the flying-bridge overhang. On the bridge deck, there's a full helm station, wet bar, sunpads, and a U-shape dinette. Just the kind of spacious and accommodating layout expected from Monte Fino.
