Lions and tigers and 59-foot cats that can hit nearly 30 mph at WOT? Oh my! The Horizon Group is set to launch its PC58 power cat at this fall’s Fort Lauderdale boat show. The yacht, whose elegant lines were engineered by Jupiter, Florida’s Winchester Design Group, cuts a legitimately sleek profile. She also boasts pretty impressive amenities for a boat her size: three en suite cabins, including a main deck master featuring a walkaround king-size bed and separate dressing room with full-length closets. Also on the main deck is a lavish saloon that makes good use of the boat’s 24'6" beam. A well-equipped galley comes with a full-height fridge, separate freezer, four-burner electric cooktop, and ample stowage, making it an ideal spot to whip up a meal for you and your guests. And you can enjoy that meal al fresco as the PC58’s cockpit is large enough for a roomy dining table. Up top, the flying bridge offers yet another entertainment space and can be outfitted with a bar and ice maker.
At 59 feet, the PC58 is also a manageable size for owner-operators who enjoy manning their helm. When it comes to power cats, the PC58 proves that we’re not in Kansas anymore.
