Over the last few years, there have been several impressive 1,000-pound-plus blue marlin caught of the United States' Mid-Atlantic Coast. We wondered why these behemoth blues are seemingly here all of a sudden? Is it bait? Conservation efforts? Both? Or have the mammoth marlin always been here and anglers have just gotten better at fishing for them? Well, stay tuned as in our upcoming annual Big Game Tournament Guide magazine we posed these very questions to the crews who have caught some of these once-in-a-lifetime fish.
