27. Salem
241'0" · 1998 (conversion) A two-year process turned a commercial vessel into this yellow-hulled yacht, which belongs to a European. Little else is known about her. B: Devonport Yachts, England (conversion); N: Devonport (conversion); H: Steel; E: unknown

28. Coral Island
236'0" · 1994 The Saudi who owns this Lürssen is quite protective of his privacy, so not much is known about him or his yacht, although you're apt to see her in the South of France. B: Lürssen, Germany; N: Jon Bannenberg; H: Steel; E: 2/1,877-hp Caterpillars

29. Carinthia Vl
233'0" · 1973 Heidi Horten-Chamat, one of the richest citizens of Germany, keeps this beautiful blue-hulled yacht in the South of France. Carinthia VI was commissioned by her late husband, Helmut, and inspired Leslie Wexner to commission Limitless (see no. 8) with similar lines. B: Lürssen, Germany; N: Jon Bannenberg/builder; H: Steel; E: 2/5,100-hp MTUs

30. Boadicea
231'3" · 1998 Last fall Australians got an eyeful when Boadicea pulled into Sydney for the Olympic Games and paid visits to other ports along the country's coast in the weeks following the event. Although not much is known about the yacht, a few reports state she's owned by Reg Grundy, the Australian king of television game shows and soap operas. B: Amels, Holland; N: Builder; H: Steel; E: unknown

31. Reverie
229'7" · 2000 A yachtsman from northern Europe is so protective of his privacy and yacht that he wouldn't permit Benetti to even photograph her exterior for a general press release. No matter, though, because our spies caught sight of her in Malta and Venice and were able to take a few photos surreptitiously in the latter city. Various reports have Reverie accommodating about a dozen people (including the owner) and nearly two dozen crew. B: Benetti, Italy; N: Builder; H: Steel; E: 2/2,000-hp Caterpillars

32. Amazon Express
220'11 · 1966/1984 Amazon Express is yet another converted commercial boat, although her gray hull and yellow and bright-blue upper decks have caused a few people to scratch their heads in bewilderment. She's owned by Johnny Pigozzi, a famous Italian photographer, who has entertained equally famous people like actor Michael Douglas and actress Catherine Zeta-Jones aboard within the past few years. B: Horten, Norway (conversion); N: Dwinger Marine (conversion); H: Steel; E: 1/1,710-hp Wickmann

33. Teraaka
220'0" · 1961 A Nevada resident purchased the former Presidential yacht of Marshall Tito last year. She's undergoing a top-to-bottom refit and decor change in Baja California; work is expected to be complete later this year. The owner also plans to have her fly under the U.S. flag, a rarity for many of the American-owned, super-size megayachts. B: Brodogradiliste Titovo, Yugoslavia; N: Builder; H: Steel; E: unknown

34. Golden Shadow
219'0" · 1995 The same prince who owns Golden Odyssey (see no. 15) owns this vessel. He often takes the two out at the same time on cruises and oceanographic explorations, using this one as a support vessel for the other. Golden Shadow carries a sea plane and four tenders from 20 to 43 feet. B: Campbell Shipyard, USA; N: Francis & Francis; H: Steel; E: 2/2,656-hp Deutz-MWMs

35.Haida G
218'0" · 1929 Long a member of the elite charter fleet, this yacht is the former Rosenkavalier. A German yachtsman bought her last year and gave her this name. She's easily recognizable due to her bright-yellow stacks and funnels. B: Fr. Krupp Germania Werft, Germany; N: Cox & Stevens; H: Steel; E: 2/750-hp Krupps
