Berthed in Athens in May, Seawolfe is being offered for sale by
her Greek owner for $18 million. She has a classic interior with cherrywood
paneling and white-lacquer overheads. Even though her exterior was refurbished
to yacht standards, she retains an unmistakable rugged air from her years
of service as a North Sea tug. She also boasts a 16,000-mile range.

Ron Tutor of California construction giant Tutor-Saliba has Pegasus
for sale for $56.9 million. Highlights include a dining room about 21
feet by 30 feet with an onyx overhead and six guest staterooms named after
six different Greek isles. And don’t forget the upper saloon: When
the eight-foot projection screen drops down from the overhead, the room
becomes a cinema, with automatically closing Roman shades.

Now this is what we call luxurious: Princess Tanya has three Swarovski
crystal chandeliers above her dining table and double-sided silk curtains
that can be drawn to separate the dining room from the saloon. And forget
about turning on the CD player—just ask the onboard violinist and
pianist to play a song or two. She charters for up to $252,000 per week.

Though she’s nearly 20 years old, this yacht gained a new transom
design a little more than a decade ago. A skylight forward lets light
spill down a stairway connecting her three decks. She’s also unusual

thanks to some pullman berths.

If there’s any doubt as to how much success can be had in the car
biz, this yacht will change your mind. Excellence III is owned by Herb
Chambers, whose car-dealer group is among the largest in the United States,
generating more than $1 billion in sales in 2002, according to Wards Auto.
The yacht generates a lot of business as well, but on the charter circuit,
where she’s available for up to s$345,000 per week.

Her owner previously had a Feadship with the same name. Kwikumat
has a grand piano in the saloon and a few murals, one of which rises up

A familiar sight in St. Barts every year around the holidays, Ultima
III has belonged to Revlon chairman Ron Perelman since delivery. Earlier
this year the tabloids ran reports saying that Perelman and his wife,
actress Ellen Barkin, had split, but within weeks new reports had the
couple working out their differences. Let’s hope so; the “see
and be seen” atmosphere in St. Barts just wouldn’t be the same
without them.

The yacht formerly know as Midnight Saga was acquired by a new
owner a few years ago. Judging from her name, the owner may be Middle
Eastern (Mawasa is a Beduin tribe). After he acquired her, he decided
to reserve her strictly for private use (she was chartered as Midnight
Saga), so we don’t know if he has made changes to her decor.
However, we expect he kept her stateroom configurations—the yacht
comfortably accommodates 12 family members and/or guests.

Cleopatra 187'0" · 1985
Launched as My Gail III, this was the first Amels-built yacht that
the late Jon Bannenberg designed. She was also known as Cleopatra C
for a few years, but the “C” was mysteriously dropped about
a year or so ago. She’s visible in the South of France.

The rumor mill has it that Roman Abramovich (nos. 5, 6, and 16) owned
this yacht at one point, but we’ve also heard that an American owned
her. Regardless, the only things that are certain are that she did change
hands during construction and that the Bannenberg design firm spent two
months redesigning the interior when that occurred.
