Once your boat arrives at her final port, Sevenstar uses its crane system to unload your boat and either hand her off to you and/or your crew in those waters or deliver her to a nearby marina, again via its Personal Yacht Delivery department. And there’s no need to worry about checking in with the local customs’ office, if you’ll be in a different country, as Sevenstar handles all fees, paperwork, official clearances, etc., for a fee based on the square footage of your boat.

But there’s a way to make the one-stop shopping concept work even better for you and your fellow tourney trailers. Say a group of you is traveling together, perhaps participating in a string of tournaments; if you group yourselves together, Sevenstar will provide a better rate.

So just how early should you book, whether as an individual or as a group? Sevenstar recommends at least three months in advance and double-checking the sailing schedule. If your departure point is Fort Lauderdale and you’re heading to the West Coast, for example, the first stop is Golfito, Costa Rica, followed by Ensenada, Mexico, and finally Vancouver. The full trip takes 21 days, with arrival in Ensenada taking 14 days. Around the time you’re reading this, Sevenstar should also be offering its new Fort Lauderdale-to-eastern-Costa Rica route, leaving once every two weeks.

Once those issues are settled, all you’ll have left to do is envision how quickly you’ll make it out at the Bimini start. Because this time, you’re definitely not missing it.

This time you’ll be thinking; That’s it, I’m definitely doing this again.
