KEP Marine’s KCAM-IP2HD network camera combines high-definition imaging with Internet Protocol (IP) functionality for a variety of onboard functions, including surveillance and eliminating blind spots. Weighing less than a pound, the KCAM is compatible with onboard PCs on Microsoft operating systems including Windows 7, Vista, XP, and 2000, and is FCC and CE (meaning it can visit Europe without a problem) compliant.
The KCAM uses wide dynamic range processing technology for effective operation in bright conditions, while built-in infrared illumination serves nighttime performance with a range of 32 feet. Capturing images in full 1080p HD resolution at a rate of 30 frames per second, the KCAM-IP2HD has internal memory to function as a backup recording system.
Measuring less than 4 inches in diameter, the KCAM operates on 12-volt DC power. Available in brushed aluminum or white, the camera is rated to IP67, which means it can be immersed in water for up to 30 minutes at depths up to 1 meter.
