Photo by David Pincus, owner of the Ocean Alexander 62 Devocean “This photo was taken in June 2013 on a perfectly still morning during a six-day cruise to Loreto, Mexico, and back,” reader David Pincus wrote. “We were at Bahía Candeleros, just 7 miles south of Puerto Escondido. When we woke up I grabbed my camera and jumped in the dinghy to get some photos. This is a great anchorage with a brand-new resort on the beach that you can dinghy over to. They have a small market that you can get some food and supplies from. Needless to say, we had a splendid couple of days there. Our next cruise will be about 15 days and we will go much farther north towards Mulegé and Bahía Concepción. In November we plan to head south for the winter to Puerto Vallarta and beyond, before returning to La Paz in the late spring of 2014.”
