The Island Inn is seen in the background, overlooking the harbor. The building was originally built in 1816 and expanded twice to accommodate more visitors—the last renovation was made in 1910. The Inn’s front porch faces west over Monehgan harbor, making it an ideal place to take in the sunset.
This Memorial Day, remember those who were lost serving our country on the high seas in the U.S. Navy aboard PT Boats. Recently we were invited out for a ride on the only operational combat-veteran PT Boat, PT 305 in New Orleans.
