from a Coast Guard boat. Spent last night with Port Security Unit 313 (right)
out of Tacoma, Washington, which is guarding the Mina al Bakr oil terminal
just off the coast of Iraq. An eerie place, what with the thunder and
lightning, a stack of Iraqi gas masks in the corner, and old Iraqi uniforms
piled up. And waves thrashing noisily a few hundred feet down. Talked
to a whole bunch of people and ate a few MREs...not too bad, not too good.
Talk to you soon.
If you haven’t yet seen the Evo 43 then you’re in luck. This boat uses some really inventive design to amp up function in a sharp dayboat with a nice turn of speed. But when you anchor out, the Evo plays her trump card.
Check out the surprises she has in store here. ▶
