The Riva 122 Mythos [New Boats; January 2013]—the largest Riva ever built—made her technical launch recently in Ancona, Italy. Riva insiders are fired up about this new flagship. That’s not surprising given her stiletto-sharp lines and an aluminum hull that will be able to hit speeds in excess of 27 knots.
The Rio Granturismo 56 [Notebook; January 2014] launched this spring to much fanfare. With expansive windows in the saloon, a galley fit for a much larger boat, and twin 715-horsepower Cummins engines trained to Zeus pods with joystick controls, this boat could be something special.
