Sunseeker Predator 68

Sunseeker Predator 68

For a waterborne predator, being sleek and fast is a first-rate necessity. It appears that the designers over at Sunseeker are certainly aware of this, since the lines on their new build, the Predator 68, are sleek enough to give a leopard seal body issues. What’s more, her optional twin 1,270-horsepower MTU diesels should have her flying around on the pins at a healthy 33 knots, while a cruise of 24 knots is nothing to be bashful about, particularly when the range at that speed is 300 nautical miles—a not-insignificant number for a boat of this class.

This Predator, which debuted at the 2013 London Boat Show in January, can sleep six guests and two crew with ease. She’ll be perfect for cruising, especially in nice weather, since her large, open cockpit has a partially covered dinette with seating for all your well-primped and pampered overnight guests. There’s also a huge aft sunpad for catching some rays and a hydraulic swim platform for the tender. Of course, there’s another sunpad on the bow that provides even more tanning space, because let’s be honest, everybody looks better when they’re tan. And if you’re riding around on a boat like this, you’d better look damn good.
