Our reader selection for December 2012 is Deltaville Boatyard in Deltaville, Virginia
Power & Motoryacht reader Bill Brubaker writes:
“They back up their work. Two years ago they did an extensive refit over a year period. Within a few days of departing for points south, our four 245-amp AGM house bank batteries experienced difficulty holding a charge. Although Deltaville Boatyard did no work on the house bank, the owner said the problem must have been their inadequate attention to keeping it charged while the boat was on the hard. He immediately discharged two mechanics and four, brand-new 245-amp AGM batteries. They drove to Elizabeth City, North Carolina the next day and removed and replaced the house bank at no cost to us.”
