Jefferson introduced the 42 Sundeck in 1985 as its first foray into the semi-displacement cruisers. She was offered at a base price of $138,500 and often sells today, according to Jefferson, at comparable prices. Twin 200-hp Perkins diesels served as the basic powerplants, with twin 355-hp Caterpillar diesels available for only an extra $35,000. |
