703 Eaton Street By Capt. Patrick Sciacca — March 2005 |
||||||||||||||||||
If you’re looking to spend some quality time in Key West and don’t feel like a hotel, you may want to try 703 Eaton Street (305-842-9200). I stayed at this modern conch home located in Old Town (just two blocks from the famed Duval Street) and found the second-floor two-bedroom apartment a great place to rest the dogs after a day of fishing. There’s a third single-bedroom apartment on this floor that can be added to your accommodations, if needed. Plus there’s another two-bedroom and third single available on the main floor. In addition to providing air-conditioned surroundings, cable TV, a computer with Internet access, and a heated pool, proprietor Peter Obermeyer has, I’m sure, completed the Jacuzzi by now. As 703 Eaton specializes in long-term stays, you’ll want to call early for availability and rates. —P.S.
