You may know this company for its small cars, but it is an industrial giant back in Korea. Among its many products are engines, of which Daewoo is now marinizing 11 models for pleasureboat use. They range from a 3.2-liter, 70-hp four to a 21.9-liter, 720-hp V-12. The company emphasizes their compact design, low fuel consumption, and easy maintenance.

At 3,858 pounds, the top-rated V-12, the V222TI, isn’t exactly a lightweight (5.36 lbs/hp), and the green paint job leaves something to be desired aesthetically, but given the brand’s sterling reputation for quality, it may be worth consideration.
