from a Coast Guard boat. Spent last night with Port Security Unit 313 (right)
out of Tacoma, Washington, which is guarding the Mina al Bakr oil terminal
just off the coast of Iraq. An eerie place, what with the thunder and
lightning, a stack of Iraqi gas masks in the corner, and old Iraqi uniforms
piled up. And waves thrashing noisily a few hundred feet down. Talked
to a whole bunch of people and ate a few MREs...not too bad, not too good.
Talk to you soon.
Sure you catch a few fish. And your cockpit team does the job as well as any you’ve ever seen. Maybe it’s time to put your boat up against the best in the world on the fishing tournament circuit. See how to do it here. ▶
