Pulled the Plug?
No good deed
goes unpunished. Destined to go down in the history books as the largest
artificial reef, the 510-foot Spiegel Grove decided to sink
a bit early. The ship turned turtle (see sequence below) before she
could be set in place, resulting in quite the quagmire. We’re
happy to report the conservation-minded volunteers eventually corrected
the ship’s position.
