Explorer 78 — By Capt. Bill Pike —
This is a yachtsman’s yacht for many reasons,
one being the comparatively simple upper helm (next image) and another
being the lofty hardtop, which puts the radar scanner well above
the helmsman’s head for safety’s sake. The 15-foot, hard-shell
dinghy on the boat deck (above) is custom-built by Marlow.
Talking about windows on boats, there’s a lot to consider. Will the new ones hold up and be easy to maintain? Know the ins and outs of what’s available, and see why the crew on one project chose replacement windows from Vetus.
