Pliers: long-nose, adjustable, and locking
Tape measure
Wrenches: pipe, Allen, adjustable, and oil filter
Socket wrench kit, including metrics
Utility knife
Magnetic pickup
Bronze wire brush
Screwdrivers: Phillips and flat head
Two-inch-wide paint scraper
Nut driver
Lightweight lubricant
Circuit tester

Essential Parts
Drive belts
Oil- and fuel-filter elements, including fuel-water separator
Thermostats (2)
Lube oil for at least 11/2 oil changes
Raw-water pump impellers (2)
Two gallons coolant diluted 50-50 with water
Can of brush-on instant gasket material
Hose and hose clamps
Spark plugs (if necessary)
