Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
What can you do with an old hull mold? Unless you can sell it to some aspiring Third World boatbuilder, about all you can do is cut it up and put it out with the trash.  That is unless you're Carver employee Mike Osmanski. He figured an old mold would make the perfect swimming pool--with a few modifications. He buried about half of it, added some steps, and wrapped it in an enclosure inspired by Christopher Columbus's Pinta. After two years and more money than he'll admit, Osmanski figures his pool will be ready for swimming this summer. No comment on what his neighbors think.
