One surefire way to send good crew screaming is to underpay them. While salary levels differ based on many variables—LOA, the yacht’s use as a private or charter vessel, the crew member’s qualifications, insurance, and other benefits—the range of pay that good crew expect falls within the following guidelines, according to crew-placement experts at Camper & Nicholsons International and International Yacht Collection:
