Sometimes you need to shut down the communications and go with some music. Gibson Audio’s 21st-century interpretation of a Wurlitzer might be understood as a mega iPod. There is, in fact, a futuristic jukebox-like version that would only fit on a megayacht. For many it would make more sense to set up the $4,000 component model (shown) at home, feed it with up to 1,000 CDs, and connect it to the Internet to download more music or just the album covers to your personal collection. Back on the boat, you’ll have the covers, titles, tunes, and play lists at your fingertips. You can also use the color controller as a universal remote, even burn custom CDs for all of your marina mates.
