I got to try this rig around busy Port Everglades, Florida, and can tell you that it fits neatly into the dedicated navigation computer niche discussed in the column. Using the included—and powerful—Nobeltec Admiral software is easy via a high-bright touchscreen, assisted by a dash-mount mouse pad with extra keys for commonly used commands. Also in the package are a compact 12-volt marinized processor unit, a WASS GPS, and all needed cables.
