Electronics Editor Ben Ellison got to see how Night Vision Technologies’s (www.nvti-usa.com) 3000i night/day vision system worked on a dark and busy
Intercoastal Waterway north of Fort Lauderdale. With him is Peter Curtis,
captain of the company’s test vessel, a 65' Hatteras convertible. The 3000i

tilt unit. It works very well. The low light camera showing a day mark and water detail that was invisible to the normal
eye (bottom photo).
