You've dropped some cash on that dinghy or PWC and can't wait to use it on your next cruise, but you don't want to run it up on the beach when exploring and scratch up the bottom. A small and lightweight anchor could be the answer.

Anchor Concepts has developed an effective portable anchor called BabyBubble that weighs only four pounds, so stowing it and the optional mesh backpack on your vessel is easy. The BabyBubble comes with 50 feet of line, which enables you to walk up to the beach and drop the hook in the sand. It also comes with a buoyancy tank that is said to ensure the anchor always falls true and sets fast the first time.

It retails for $50 ($60 with the backpack) and is available directly from Anchor Concepts.
