Don’t Get an Eyeful
By Capt. Patrick Sciacca — January 2003
Of sunglare, that is. Boating is downright uncomfortable when you don’t have sunglasses. In fact, I always keep an extra pair on the boat, since I’m occasionally forgetful.
An inexpensive solution to that spare pair problem runs $49.95 and comes courtesy of Polar Eyes. The Harmony series sunglasses contain polarized, polycarbonate lenses that can be tinted gray or copper and sport black or tortoise frames.
The sunglasses can be purchased directly from Polar Eyes and come with a lifetime warranty. Now if I could just remember where I left them on the boat. Hmm, maybe I should have three pairs...
