Boat owners aren’t always fully prepare for all types of fires. In addition, few realize that traditional fire-extinguishing agents can be messy to clean, unsafe for human exposure, corrosive to equipment, and harmful to the environment.

Sea-Fire Marine has clean-agent, C-Series portable fire extinguishers containing the trusted FM-200 gaseous extinguishing agent that doesn’t create the mess that dry-powder extinguishers do. They’re intended for small oil, grease, or electrical fires and are available in two models, both of which reportedly are safe for human exposure, won’t damage equipment, and are environmentally friendly.

The extinguishers comply with all U.S. government regulations as well as ABYC and NFPA standards, and they are U.S. Coast Guard B-1 compliant. Suggested retail price starts at $270.
