If the primary purpose of a yacht is to entertain, then the Maritimo M53 is a boat on a mission. At 57'8" she packs as much leisure-time punch as larger boats. Of particular note is her well-appointed galley, replete with a full-size refrigerator and freezer, electric cooktop, microwave, and drawer-style dishwasher, plus a stainless steel sink and slide-out pantry. Such amenities will make preparing meals for guests a snap, and those guests will await those meals in comfort whether they’re in the saloon or the cockpit. Among the saloon’s features are a wet bar and bar refrigerator and an L-shape lounge opposite a flat-panel TV. Out in the cockpit you’ll find another sink, freezer, and optional barbecue. After a few cocktails, you may want to check out the optional hydraulic swim platform that can be positioned anywhere from 16 inches above to 16 inches below the water to ease your exit and entry.
The enclosed flying bridge offers another excellent location in which to unwind, with its own L-shape lounge aft and a nearby wet bar that can be stocked with remedies for whatever ails you. Below, a three-cabin layout provides ample opportunity for you and your guests to get some sleep if you’re tuckered out from all that hard-fought relaxing. And have no fear, a variable-deadrise hull ensures a seakindly ride that won’t disturb your well-earned slumber. Mission accomplished.
