Sea Force IX 91.5

Sometimes a fishing boat is more than just a fishing boat. Sometimes it is a personal statement announcing the owner’s sense of sophistication and elegance. The new Sea Force IX 91.5 Skybridge Sport Yacht may represent the apotheosis of just such a boat. She is more than 91 feet long and sports an enormous enclosed flying bridge with another fully equipped helm station above that. And with her rakish profile, a painted-mahogany toerail, and a cockpit sole of hand-selected teak, she is sure to make an impressive entry into any port—be it near or far, as her twin 2,400-hp MTUs give her a range of 4,000 miles when cruising at 11.5 mph.

Inside, the 91.5 is similarly striking thanks to the work of interior designer Luiz de Basto.

Block-mottled anigre accented by woven leather and silk-blended carpet was used to decorate the interior. (Notably, all of the wood was taken from a single tree in Africa.) Her cavernous saloon and enclosed flying bridge—linked by a custom bridge stairway that is a trademark of Sea Force IX vessels—make for ideal places to entertain when not using the 91.5 to track down fish. Not too shabby for a “battlewagon.” PMY
