If one were pressed to come up with a maxim to describe Tricon Marine’s new Nisi 2400 it would have to be “everything old is new again.” Designed with the iconic motoryachts of the 1930s and ‘40s in mind, the yacht exudes classical styling that will ensure her owners stand apart from the pack. Of note are her large aft sunpad and the panoramic frameless windows that flank the saloon. With her oversize sunroof, the windows lend the interior an unmistakably breezy feel. Down below she has four staterooms, each with an en suite head, including a full-beam amidships master.
The 78-foot 2400 should be able to clock a not-to-shabby 28 mph top speed thanks to her three 600-hp Cummins diesels and Zeus pod drives. She also is blessed with new “SkyHook” technology that will enable her to maintain position and heading even in rougher water with the simple push of a button. With features like these, the 2400 is more than enough boat to bring you back to the future.
