The World's 10 Most Expensive Charters Page 2

ALYSIA | $843,478 per week

Interior of the Alysia.

Launched last year just in time to claim the top spot on our 2005 list, Alysia holds steady at number one for a second year. Monaco-based charter entrepreneur Andreas Liveras smartly followed the success of Alysia’s sistership Annaliesse with this 279'8" beauty.

At presstime her weekly charter rate was the figure given above, plus expenses. (She and Annaliesse actually have the same rate, so we list them alphabetically.) So what exactly does approximately $120,500 per day get you and 35 guests? How about a personal concierge for each person, as a crew of 36 mans Alysia. There are also 18 plasma TV- and DVD-equipped staterooms, naturally with en suite heads and showers to guarantee privacy. Guests can either relax in their stateroom or the cinema room and watch any of the hundreds of movies available.

When guests aren’t busy sampling a vintage from her extensive 500-plus-bottle-capacity wine cellar or tooling around on the collection of watertoys, relaxation is the sine qua non aboard Alysia thanks to her spa. Taking up much of her lower deck, the spa and fitness center offers massage therapy, wet and dry saunas, a cold plunge pool, and a beauty salon with esthetician and hair and nail services. Alysia is available in the Med in the summer and the Caribbean in the winter.
