By Catherine Pearson The 420 Sports Coupe was an adept performer: Our ride to Little Palm was nice and smooth. Cellphone use is discouraged, and Little Palm's suites lack computers and TVs. You can check out the dock's FNN (Fish News Network) "TV," an underwater camera that lets you spy on fish. Guests not coming over on their own boat can take the island's ferry. Ben and I signed out our kayak at Little Palm's Beach Hut. The island's suites are so expertly sited, they almost disappear into the local flora. Loungers at the chaise-lined beach can simply laze and eat. Or if they prefer to be more active, the beach is stocked with plenty of watertoys. Privacy seekers, rejoice! Little Palm is full of secluded spots for unwinding. The sommelier runs an extensive half-bottle program, something of a rarity. The island's signature drink is the fruity, rum-based Gumby Slumber.
