Geting a boat ready to travel by truck isn't that much different than hauling her for the winter. Here the Ava T. is lifted out on the TraveLift, gets a quick pressure cleaning, and then is lowered onto the trailer.
When AYT drivers shrink-wrap your boat, they do it right. In the case of the Ava T., AYT manager Jeff Nowitzke took a good three hours to do it. When he'd completed the job, the plastic covering fit tight and secure.

Don’t forget to add a heat gun to your tool box
Posted |A tool not often written about but that has multiple uses is the heat gun. A word of warning though: If you struggle with a screwdriver, pliers, duct tape, and spray lubricant, stop reading. The heat gun is a great tool, but can totally ruin your day if not handled with care. Should you choose to add it to your boat toolbox, take the time to learn how to use it.
