The bridge-deck lounge is intended as an extension of the exterior, permitting everyone to enter in their bathing suits without fear of ruining the room's furnishings.
This curved settee is a central feature of the winning design; it can spin 180 degrees to face the glass wall/projection screen.
Fokkema envisioned the dining room to be used for formal family meals or even business dinners.
The master stateroom's design is a particularly good example of how the team decided to bring outdoor elements inside, between the wood accents and the large ports.
Fokkema Architecten took a more architectural approach to the master bath versus the common (sometimes fussy) onyx- and marble-lined look.
