I would like to know if any of you could suggest me if buying an old "navetta", built in the late 60s, around 30/35 meters long, is the right thing to do, being the yacht of an old conception. Are yachts like this difficult and expensive to maintain? Are they confortable at the anchor? I have heard that they are not that stable... Isn't the plumbing of a too old design? How about holding tanks? Any suggestion or general info is very welcome, thanks!
Boats that bring efficiency over a range of speeds are appealing to today’s coastal cruiser. Those with style and a bit of panache are sure to have their own admirers. The Absolute 52 Navetta will certainly fall into both categories.
