Rogue/Freak Wave Damages Cruise Ship

After reading the stories on the cruise ship that was damaged by the 70' plus rogue wave I am wondering if anyone has heard if any private yachts suffered damage off the coast of Florida or Georgia from this storm. IMO that any yachts that were in the path of this freak wave may have been lost or damaged. Has anyone heard anything?

This story also brings up the question of what chance a megayacht would have against a wave of this magnitude. One group in Europe used a satellite to see how many of these giant killer waves occured in a given time period. While it was thought to be a "once in ten thousand years" event the short term study using satellite imagery showed, as I remember, about ten of these monstrous waves within a short period of time. There was no mention of what part of the world these waves were recorded at.

Can anyone add any interesting information from personal experience or knowledge to the above??
