It could be the Greatest thing in the World.
I dealt with titanium as construction material some time of my engineering career and was pleased with it entirely.
Very light (4.5 g/cm) , flexible and plastic metal with unique resistant qualities to ANY agressive enviroments.
Even more resistant than Gold.
The only difficulty - technologically it demands following certain rules and conditions i.e. welding in neutlal gas (not open air) and others.
In spite of very high cost the Result - light, non-magnetic, practically eternal hull which may be used firstly for Mega-Yachts where the cost doesn't play significant role.
I'm sure that the most progressive future Mega-Yachts will be constructed of Titanium.
