• Senior editor, Captain Ken Kreisler’s depth of industry knowledge and strong relationships with business leaders enables him to get the story straight. Beginning his nautical career while in high school, Ken took on scraping hull bottoms and painting boats during summers off. In college, he worked his way through undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate studies while a seasonal fisherman aboard his own Maine-built lobster boat. With several seasons logged as a mate on a commercial fishing boat, Ken sat for his 100-ton Ocean Operators exam and began charter fishing, delivering northeast-based yachts to and from Florida and the Bahamas, until finally taking on the responsibilities of a megayacht captain. Ken is a 12-year veteran with POWER & MOTORYACHT magazine and has won several Boat Writers International awards over the years.
• John Turner has been with POWER & MOTORYACHT for 11 years. He has worked as the creative manager of marketing as well as the former art director of two of the magazine’s most popular annuals: The Big Game Tournament Guide and Yacht Owner’s Guide. His creative input gave these magazines their distinctive look.
Using his extensive knowledge of computer graphics, John has been able to focus his formidable talents on PMYTV, and working with the latest generation of editing software and a new editing suite in POWER & MOTORYACHT’s New York offices, he is able to generate what has become the new standard in marine video presentations.
