Electronics editor Ben Ellison came upon this wooden boat while
exploring a beach in Jamaica. It’s a memorial to 15 Cuban refugees
who landed on that spot on March 8, 1996. Next to the boat stands
a sign that reads, “(The boat) will be maintained on this site
as a tribute to all those anywhere in the world who risk their lives
for their dream of freedom.”
